How are you impacted by climate change or how is it impacting your community?

Last summer, there was a large forest fire in Canada and the outdoors became completely enveloped in ash and haze. Ashes were all around, and every sunset was red. I think this event impacted me the most because it made me realize how prominent climate change is.

Why is climate justice important to you?

Climate justice is important to me because I want to live on a clean Earth for as long as possible.

What do you think young people should be doing right now or after the march to climate change?

Call a representative, vote if possible, and let it be known that you are on the side of climate justice.

What do you think should be the government’s role? Or should it be the community’s responsibility to aim for climate justice?

I think the government should restrict companies and large producers in order to stop the output of dangerous chemicals and gases. I also think the government should implement clean energy systems.
